About Us


Delta Blood Bank is a non-profit, community blood bank and is the leading blood supplier for the San Joaquin Valley and Foothills area. Our mission is to serve the local community whenever the need for blood arises. We have proudly met that need for over 50 years.  

Based in Stockton, CA, we serve a five-county area including San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Calaveras, and El Dorado counties. We operate nine donor centers and hold a wide variety of mobile blood drives throughout the region. We provide service to 18 local hospitals within the region and need to collect over 200 pints daily in order to meet the demand.   

There is no substitute for human blood. We need people to voluntarily donate at one of our donor centers or our mobile drives in order to ensure that we always have an available supply. Through volunteer donations, patients in our region get the necessary blood products to assist them in surgeries, burn recovery, child deliveries and more.
